Heliotopos SA was founded in Santorini, in 1985. The founders of the company were Kostas Konstantinidis and Lila Konstantinidis who own the company to date.
The years 1988-1990 the company constructed, and operates since then, the Hotel Heliotopos which is located in Imerovigli on the island of Santorini . In 1990-1991 a small complex of houses, some now sold, were built next to the hotel.
In 1993 Heliotopos entered the event organizing business offering destination management services in Santorini and the other Cycladic islands. Since 2000 these services are provided under the specific title "Magma - destination management services"
In 1997 "Heliotopos Conferences and Tourism Ltd", owned totally by Heliotopos SA, established in Athens. The company provides international conferences, incentive trips, destination management services and special interest tours throughout Greece.
In 1999, under the brand name "Heliowebs", Heliotopos entered the Internet services business.
In 2000 destination weddings were added to our portfolio of event managment services under the brand name "Weddings in Greece by Heliotopos".
In 2006 Heliotopos entered the publishing business by publishing the Santorini Guidebook, an annual free-press publication.
